Q: How do I apply for a job with Labor Finders?
A: If you are located in or near a city with a Labor Finders office, applying for a job is easy. Simply call our local office or show up in person before 6:00 am any working day of the week and fill out the required paperwork. Be sure to bring documents that establish both your identity as well as your employment eligibility (such as Driver’s License, Government Issued ID, Social Security Card, etc.), as required by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. All employees, citizens and non-citizens, hired after November 6, 1986, must complete Section 1 of the Employment Eligibility Verification (I-9) Form at the time of hire.
Q: What can I expect after I apply for work with Labor Finders?
A: Once a staff member has verified that you are able to perform the types of jobs we offer, the application and all required paperwork have been submitted,
a staff member will conduct a brief interview and orientation. You are then ready to be sent on an assignment (maybe even the same day), if one for which you are qualified for is readily available.
Q: What salary will I be paid?
A: The pay rate for each assignment is different. The pay rate depends on several factors: the assignment, your skills and schedule flexibility. You will be quoted a pay amount before accepting an assignment.
Q: When will I be paid for my work?
A: Labor Finders offices usually pay employees at the end of each day for work performed that day. If the pay cycle for a particular position differs from this, you will be informed of the different pay cycle before accepting the assignment.
