Q: Is there a fee to obtain a job through Labor Finders?
A: Absolutely not! Labor Finders is a staffing service that provides temporary and temp-to-perm employees, we are not an employment agency. The people who apply and work with Labor Finders are considered Labor Finders employees.
Q: How do I find a job through Labor Finders?
A: You may search and apply for Job Openings online, or call or stop by your local office during application hours to get the most up-to-date list of job openings available that day. Find the office nearest you using the Office Locator.
Q: How do I find a local office?
A: You can find a local office by clicking Office Locator and entering the zip code of the area you live in.
Q: How do I apply for a job with Labor Finders?
A: If you are located in or near a city with a Labor Finders office, applying for a job is easy. Simply call your local office or stop by, during application hours, and complete the required paperwork. Be sure to bring documents that establish both your identity as well as your employment eligibility, as outlined in the List of Acceptable Documents (last page of Form I-9), as required by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
Q: What can I expect after I apply for work with Labor Finders?
A: : Once you have filled out an application and all of the required paperwork has been submitted, a staff member will conduct a brief interview and verify that you are able to perform the types of jobs we offer. You are then ready to be sent on an assignment (maybe even the same day), if there's an job assignment you are qualified for.
Q: What salary will I be paid?
A: The pay rate for each assignment is different. The pay rate depends on several factors: the assignment, your skills and schedule flexibility. You will be presented with a pay rate amount before accepting an assignment.
Q: When will I be paid for my work?
A: Labor Finders offices usually pay employees at the end of each day for work performed that day. If the pay cycle for a particular position differs from this, you will be informed of the different pay cycle before accepting the assignment.
Q: How will I get paid?
A: Labor Finders pays its employees by PayCard, Direct Deposit, or Check. Some office may pay only by PayCard or Direct Deposit, please contact your local office if you have any specific questions.
Q: What do I need to be prepared for my assignment?
A: Instructions on specific job requirements vary by assignment. This information is shared with the employee before the start of an assignment. It is important that you understand the requirements and come prepared to work. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your local office.
Q: What type of jobs do you offer?
A: Labor Finders has opportunities for employees in many industries. You can view the industries and positions we staff for by going to our Industries page. Industries vary by location. If you don't see the industry you are qualified to work in call the local office. They just might be looking for someone with your skills. For more information about opportunities at a specific location, please contact your local office.
Q: Where will I work?
A: As we are a staffing company, our employees will be assigned to work at the clients' location.
